Wagyu is special and needs minimal interference. Here are my tips for success.
- Bring the meat slowly to room temperature before cooking.
- No need to add fat to pan
- Preheat pan until hot
- Do not overcook - 1 - 2 mins each side for steaks
- Leave to rest before serving
For Roasting joints we suggest slightly less than prime beeef timing - so between 12 - 15 mins per pound with an aditional 15 minutes at the end - not forgetting the all important 15mins resting time.
